Jerod Mayo (New England) and Antonio Pierce (Las Vegas) are two coaches from a small bunch that were fired from their positions most recently, but only after one year!
Other coaches to be released in Jacksonville, New Orleans, Jets, Bears, all have had more than one year to prove themself.
Why is it that only after one year with a lack of major resources and experience at the quarterback position, these qualified and proven coaches (and former players) were fired at the season end.
This is always considered a ‘safe place’ so please feel free to express your ‘why’ … This shouldn’t be something we revisit every year. It simply is not justified.
